Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 15 July 2026

At Blue Sky Tourism, we aim to provide a clear and transparent cancellation and refund process. Refund eligibility and cancellation charges depend on the type of service booked and the cancellation rules of the respective airline, railway/ticketing provider, bus operator, hotel, tour operator, or other service provider.

1. Cancellation Request

Customers who wish to cancel a booking should contact Blue Sky Tourism as soon as possible through our registered contact details.

Cancellation requests should include:

  • Customer Name
  • Booking ID / Invoice Number
  • Registered Mobile Number
  • Service Details
  • Reason for Cancellation, where applicable

A cancellation request will be considered received when it is successfully communicated to Blue Sky Tourism.

2. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation charges may apply according to the applicable booking and supplier rules.

Depending on the service, deductions may include:

  • Airline cancellation charges
  • Railway/ticketing cancellation charges
  • Bus operator cancellation charges
  • Hotel cancellation charges
  • Tour operator cancellation charges
  • Supplier penalties
  • Convenience or service charges
  • Payment gateway charges, where applicable
  • Taxes or other applicable charges

The exact refundable amount will be determined after considering the applicable cancellation rules.

3. Tour Package Cancellation

For customized or holiday tour packages, cancellation charges may vary according to the booking date and travel date.

Unless a different cancellation policy is specifically mentioned on the customer’s booking confirmation, the following general policy may apply:

30 days or more before travel: Up to 100% of the eligible refundable amount may be refunded.

15–29 days before travel: Up to 50% of the eligible refundable amount may be refunded.

0–14 days before travel: Generally non-refundable, subject to the supplier’s applicable policy.

The above percentages are guidelines and do not override any specific cancellation policy communicated for an individual package.

4. Hotel Cancellation

Hotel bookings are subject to the cancellation policy of the respective hotel or booking supplier.

Some hotel bookings may be:

  • Fully refundable
  • Partially refundable
  • Non-refundable

The applicable policy will be communicated or displayed during the booking process wherever available.

5. Flight Ticket Cancellation

Flight cancellation and refund amounts are subject to the airline’s fare rules and applicable cancellation policies.

Airline cancellation fees, fare differences, taxes, and service charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.

6. Railway Ticket Cancellation

Railway ticket cancellation is subject to the applicable railway/ticketing provider rules.

Refunds, cancellation charges, waiting-list rules, booking fees, and other deductions will be applied according to the applicable provider’s rules.

7. Bus Ticket Cancellation

Bus ticket cancellation is subject to the cancellation policy of the respective bus operator or ticketing provider.

The refundable amount may vary depending on how close the cancellation is to the scheduled departure time.

8. Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain bookings may be specifically marked as Non-Refundable.

Once such a booking is confirmed, the amount may not be refundable, except where required by applicable law or where the service provider itself approves a refund.

9. Failed Payment

If your payment fails but the amount is deducted from your bank account, please contact us with the transaction details.

We will verify the transaction status with the payment gateway or relevant service provider.

If the payment is confirmed as failed or reversed, the applicable amount will be processed according to the payment gateway and banking procedures.

10. Duplicate Payment

If a customer accidentally makes more than one payment for the same booking, the customer should contact us immediately with the transaction details.

After verification, an eligible duplicate amount may be refunded according to the applicable payment and booking records.

11. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be processed through the original payment method wherever possible.

Once Blue Sky Tourism initiates a refund, the actual time taken for the amount to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or other financial institution.

Blue Sky Tourism is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment service providers after the refund has been successfully initiated.

12. Refund Amount

The final refund amount will be calculated after deducting all applicable cancellation charges, supplier penalties, service charges, convenience fees, taxes, and other applicable deductions.

The customer will be informed of the applicable refund amount where reasonably possible.

13. Changes or Cancellation by Service Provider

If an airline, railway service, bus operator, hotel, or tour operator cancels or significantly changes a service, Blue Sky Tourism will assist the customer according to the applicable supplier policy.

Refunds or alternative arrangements will depend on the rules of the respective service provider.

14. Force Majeure

Refunds or cancellations resulting from events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, severe weather, transportation disruptions, or other extraordinary circumstances, will be handled according to the applicable supplier’s rules.
